London - Tuesday....

Tuesday dawned bright and we were so pleased we wouldn't have to carry jackets around with us. Much easier to get around with less gear :-)

On the way to Argos to get the much anticipated Monster high dolls. I really liked all the different textures, shapes and colours as we walked.

Milly really wanted to get into a red phone box but this one wouldn't open. She did spot another interesting sculpture over the road though...

After visiting two Argos stores we had to come away empty handed as they were both out of stock of the ones Milly wanted :-( She was upset but handled it well. We set off to get the tube to Camden.

We LOVED Camden!

Through the market with Milly trying on lots of  dresses and tops and shoes and eventually buying a very individual ethnic design hooded top.

On to the Lock area to sample some Chinese food whilst sitting on a scooter stool :-)

Onwards and more clothes to try on and barter for. An amazing tutu and top were purchased and  needed to be worn immediately :-)

Quick change in the loo....

So many wonderful sights, sounds and smells...

Quite hard on the feet though - especially as you have decided to wear your heeled boots! We thought we might find a flat pair in the market but luck was not with us with the size or design :-(

Onwards and upwards. Yet more sights to see. It went on forever!

Milly started to feel a little under the weather and we cut our visit short so we could rest at the Travelodge. Sitting on the granite object we passed most nights became a must do :-)

Back at the hotel she got worse. Milly really hates being sick and was panicking because she felt as though she was going to be...After some tender loving care, a cool bath and a long chat she perked up a little. Alan and I went to the dining room to eat. Milly had been more than happy to be left watching TV and requested some chips and ice cream cake to be brought back up to the room so I took them up whilst our food was on order and then went back to eat with Al.

By the time we got back to the room she was feeling much better and we all settled down for a good nights sleep.
